Masterson’s Lounge, nestled in the bustling area of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my latest trip at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I experienced behind its threshold was disturbing and far below any standard .

The surfaces were tacky , and a overpowering stench of decaying beverages and dirty bathrooms suffused the entire pub. With a smell of a mixture of excrement , a rotting odor and sickness .
